Cucumber, lemon juice and rose water - Lemon juice is known for its acidic properties, which act as a natural bleaching agent, thereby making it an apt ingredient for sun removal. Cucumber and rose water on the other hand act as cooling agents and soothe tanned and blemished skin.

Tomato, lemon juice and yogurt - While tomato juice acts as a natural toner for your skin, lemon juice and yogurt act as natural bleaching agents. Mix together two spoons of tomato pulp, one spoon of lemon juice and one spoon of yogurt and apply it to your face. Allow this to dry for the next 30 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

Oatmeal and buttermilk - Oatmeal acts as a natural scrub to exfoliate your skin while buttermilk helps to soothe the skin. Combine together two spoons of oatmeal with three spoons of buttermilk and apply it on your tanned skin. Now gently massage your skin in a circular motion and allow it to stay on for the next 20 minutes before you wash it out with cool water.

Aloe vera, tomato juice and red lentil (masoor dal) - Masoor dal is an effective remedy in treating sun tan. Aloe vera and tomato juice on the other hand helps to refresh and rejuvenate your skin.



Soak a spoonful of masoor dal in water for about 20 to 30 minutes and then make a rough paste out of it. Combine this paste with aloe vera gel and a spoon of tomato juice and apply it on your tanned skin. Massage your face and neck as you put it on and leave it on for about 20 minutes before you rinse it out.

Honey and lemon juice - While lemon juice acts as a natural bleaching agent, honey will help moisturise and soften your skin. Combine two spoonfuls of honey and a few drops of lemon juice and apply it to the tanned skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

Bengal Gram Flour (Besan) and turmeric - Besan and turmeric when combined together can make up for an effective tan removing and exfoliating mixture. Take 2 spoonfuls of besan and a pinch of turmeric and blend it together with a spoonful of milk and some cold rose water. Apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes to dry.
