Hi girls!! After 10 days, Rakshabandhan is about to come and this is the day when we love to flaunt our ethnic wear and get gifts from our brothers. Most of the girls would wear salwar kameez and married ladies will wear sarees and visit their brother’s place to tie Rakhis. When we get ready with beautiful dress, then makeup is very important. I will share this easy pink eye makeup which is very soft and subtle to be tried for the day time. So, let’s check out girls how I did this eye makeup look for Rakshabandhan. Steps to do this Simple easy Rakshabandhan Eye Makeup look: Tutorial

 In the first step I filled up with eyebrows. If you have full thick eyebrows girls, then you need not to touch upon that. Then in this step I have applied a light eye shadow primer. You can try applying a tinted moisturizer or even BB cream.

2. Then I dipped my eye shadow brush in a light pink eye shadow and applied that on the eyelids.

3. In this step you can see that the eyelids now have a faint pale pink color all over.

4. Then I took a tapered brush and took some dark pink eye shadow. I applied this on the crease of my eyes.

. Then I blended this dark pink eye shadow on the crease like you can see in the picture no 5.

6. After this I took a purple eye shadow on a flat thin brush and applied that under the water, have a look at the picture no 6.

7. In the next step I applied my gel eyeliner. That is not necessary as you can apply any eyeliner like pencil eyeliner, gel, liquid anything that you are comfortable with. Pen eyeliners are easier to apply so you can even use that.

8. At this point, I was done applying the eyeliner, I like to flick out a little wing. This totally depends on your liking dearies whether you like to wing it out or keep that till the outer corner of the eyes. Then I applied mascara as you can see in the picture and I am almost done just a little thing left.

9. In this step, I again took the same thin brush that I used to apply the purple eye shadow below my waterline. This time I lightly took a black eye shadow on that brush and gently smudged that over the purple eye shadow. I did this step to create a slight smokiness to the look, it now looks dark-ish purple. Hi girls, the other day, I was thinking of wearing a pink anarkali for one of my friend’s wedding so I did a pink smokey eye look. Earlier I though I should do a golden copper eye makeup look which shared on the blog earlier. A lot of us would give much importance to the eye makeup as our eyes are the highlighting feature of our face. So, I tried doing this eye makeup look with my pink dress. I was thinking a lot of you would also like to try a makeup like that. This is because pink is every girls favorite color. That doesn’t matter whether that it is a baby pink, light pink or hot pink.  I like wearing hot pink as I think light or baby pink does not look pretty on me

Anyways, I will share this step by step picture tutorial with you to let you understand how can we achieve this smokey pink eye makeup look. You can wear this with our Indian wear like salwar kameez, anarkali suits, sarees, Lehenga etc.

Step By step Pink smokey Eye makeup look: tutorial with pictures

1. In the first step, I start with applying some concealer on my eyelids and filled my eye brows. Filled eye brows can make your eyes look more finished and groomed eye makeup. And when we use some concealer or even some foundation on the eyes then the eyelids look even toned. Like some of us can have darkness, redness etc. That will be gone by the usage of concealer.
2. In this step I applied a hot pink eye shadow on the eyelids. An eyelid is the area which is below the crease of the eyes as you can see in the picture no 2.
3. I took some of the purple pink eye shadow on the eye shadow brush and applied that on the crease of my eyes.
4. Then I took the pointed blending brush and applied some dark brown eye shadowon the crease only. I blended this so that this looks a blended. By blending I mean just swipe your brush a couple of times so that the eye shadow is not patchy but get blending with the other colors mildly.
5. In the next step, I applied a liquid eyeliner on my eyes and in this same step if you will check the picture, I applied the same hot pink eye shadow under the lower lash line as well.
6. In this step I applied some brown eye shadow on the lower lash line outer corner so that it look more smokey. I also applied 2-3 coats of my Maybelline mascara and I am ready with this pink smokey eye makeup look.

Here is the finished look for this pink smokey eye makeup. So girls, How was that, I think this was pretty easy. You too can try this with any other color as well may be a light pink or golden eye shadow. This will look good. 

Easy Golden Copper Eye Makeup for Indian Wear and Festivals

Hi beauties. How are you doing? I will share this eye makeup that we can do for Indian festivals with our Indian traditional wear like saris, salwar kameez, lehenga etc. At times, we get confused about which eye makeup or makeup to do with the Indian wear. In this post, I will share a step by step eye makeup look for you. Have you seen that in our Indian clothes, there are embroidery, zari work etc of detailing of copper, gold, bronze or silver color etc, These detailing makes the clothes look heavy and suitable for the Indian festivals, weddings and parties. This is why the colors I have chosen for this look are very earthy like golden, copper etc.

Step By Step Eye Makeup for Indian Wear

Okay, so first start with the eye primer. Eye shadow primer can make your eye shadow last longer. If you do not have eye primer than use BB cream or even a concealer to make the eyelids even toned.

1. So, in the first step I took a gold eye shadow color on the eye shadow brush and applied that on the inner corner or my eyes.

2. In this step, I took another color which is a berry like reddish color. I applied this color on the outer corner of the eyes.

3. Then I took a copper color and applied it over the middle of the eyelids. This makes a gradient as the inner part has gold, then copper and then that reddish color.

4. After this I used a medium matte brown eye shadow color on the crease and blended all the three color gently so that they look even and not patchy.

5. After that I used my gel liner to draw a line over the lash line.  I also used some copper colored eye shadow under the waterline as well.

6. In this step as you can see I created a slightly thick wing which makes the eyes look longer and more attractive.

7. Then I also thickened my eyeliner a little bit because thick eyeliner looks good on me. Just look at picture no 5 and 8. Did you see the difference a thick eyeliner with wing can make?

8. Lastly, I applied my mascara and I was ready with my eye makeup. Yaay! 

So, beauties do you feel this is easy. I am sure with just a little practice you will be able to do that. If you cannot do that then you can simply apply a gold color eye shadow on the eyelids and a winged shape eyeliner. That is also a lovely eye makeup for Indian  wear. Lips color suggestion for this Copper Gold Eyemake up

So, now with such eye makeup for Indian wear, you can use a red lipstick, pink, orange or even a coral lip color. If your skin complexion is darker then warm pink will look lovely on your or even a beautiful corally color. If you don’t know what is a corally color. Then  a corally color is a reddish orange color which is also is the color of sunset. When the sun is setting have you noticed that it look slightly red and little bit orangey. That’s the Coral color.

Hi girls, I will share a cat style eyeliner makeup look. In this makeup look, I did cat style eyeliner with a soft eye shadow like copper, gold on my eyelids. This is an eye makeup look which you can try for a party, for Indian wedding functions like mehendi, sangeet etc. I have seen that this makeup accentuates the eye by making the eyes look glamorous and very smokey. So let’s check out girls, how to do this eye makeup cat style look in this step by step picture tutorial.

Step By Step Cat style Eye Makeup Look Tutorial

1. I always start my eye  makeup by filling my eye brows. I have made the eye brows extra dark for this eye makeup look. But this is not necessary. You can just lightly fill the brows so that they look groomed. I have also applied a thin layer of concealer so that the redness on the eye can be hide.
2. I used a medium brown matte eye shadow. This eye shadow that I have used was in my 120 eye shadow palette and is a powder eye shadow. So, I took a small blending brush and applied this eyeliner on the crease. Crease is the areas where the eye folds.
3. Then I took a gold eye shadow on my eye shadow brush and applied that on the eyelids. I used a medium gold but if you like you can try any eye shadow color like a green, grey, blue etc according to your dress or your liking. The brown that I applied first will match with the second eye shadow that you will choose.
4. Then in the next step I applied some kajal on my eyes.
5. In this step, I used my pencil eyeliner and applied it in a wing shape. You can try gel eyeliner, liquid eyeliner or any eyeliner that you like for this makeup look.
6. I then took a shader brush and took some black powder eye shadow on that. If you do not have the powder black eye shadow girls, then you can gentle rub the brush over a kajal and then lightly smudge it under the water line. Waterline is the place where you apply kajal. So this time you have to swipe the brush under the waterline to create a smokey look. Keep smudging and take that till the outer corner of the eyes as shown in the last step.
7. Apply mascara and you’re done!! here is the complete makeup look with this cat style eye makeup.
8. With such a heavy eye makeup. Most of us should be very conscious with the lip color. So, if you are going out for a party then try a coral, pink or orangish lip color according to your skin complexion. Else if you are doing this for a not so grand function then use a subtle pink, peachy lip color with this. Or just apply a lip gloss in a light color. In the makeup look picture I have used a pinkish coral liquid lipstick which is Rimmel London in Aurora which is a great color.

The cat eye eyeliner is quite the rage nowadays. Not wanting to be left behind you want to be able to get the classic look yourself. But this seemingly simple flick can be quite tough to get and needs some practise.

Tools You Need:

• Eye shadow brush
• Eyeliner

• Q-Tip

Step-Wise Tutorial on Cat Eye Makeup 

Step 1Use an eye shadow to prime your eyelid. This helps the eyeliner hold on to something and not rub off. Choose a shade that is the same as or lighter than your skin tone.

Step 2To find the right angle of the wing, hold a brush against the side of your nose and point to the end of your eyebrow. The line of the brush is the line of your wing. The two wings have to be as identical as can be.
For hooded eyelids, let the wing be more straight than angled. 

Step 3Place a dot where the tip of your wing will be on each eye. Higher dots mean a thicker and more dramatic cat eye. The dots have to be at the same angle and height. You can erase a dot much easily as compared to the wing.

Step 4Draw a line from the dot to the outer corner. Do not pull your skin for this. Tilt your head back a bit and lower your eyelid slightly so you can see exactly what you are doing.

Step 5Draw another line from the dot to the middle of your upper lash line. If you want the look to be more dramatic (and feel the confidence), draw a downward curving line.

Step 6Fill in the outline or leave the two lines distinct. Both the looks have different appeal.

Step 7Use a pointed Q-tip to clean up any mistakes on the cat eyeliner. You can also dip the Q-tip in primer or use Olay Revitalising Eye Serun to remove excess eyeliner. Do not use a makeup remover.

Step 8Now trace a line along your upper lash line, the way you would do for a simple eyeliner. Do it in one motion else it’ll look uneven. You can also first place dots at equal intervals and then connect them.

Step 9Thicken this line closer to the outer corner of your eye. You can rest your little finger on your cheekbone to stabilise your hand.

Step 10Complete the look with mascara. Add more drama by covering the top lashes with more than one coat. Put a single layer on the lower lashes.
