Homemade Chocolate Face Packs

Who wouldn’t like to use chocolate in face packs, the thought itself sounds so yummy 😛 Chocolate is being widely used in skin treatments, nowadays, and yay to that! Though consuming chocolate directly can result in piling up of calories, it works awesomely for skin when applied as a pack.  Chocolate or cocoa has an abundant amount of antioxidants and therefore its so good for anti-ageing treatment. Chocolate-based face packs give a radiant glow and help to soften out skin, but the USP of chocolate face packs is that they help you relax and rejuvenate.  Since chocolate helps in drawing out toxins from the skin, you would be able to achieve brighter and radiant skin with chocolate-infused face packs.  In addition, chocolate removes tan and adds glow to the skin.  So, what are you waiting for, pick one of these recipes that are listed below and relax and rejuvenate!
For making face packs, you can use cocoa powder or dark chocolate bars (melted).

1.  Chocolate, Honey and Oatmeal Face Pack

Mmmmmm….sounds good to eat, yeah, you can 😛  In a bowl, mix in 2 tbsp of melted chocolate/cocoa powder with 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of oatmeal powder.  Mix everything well and apply it on the face and neck and wash off after 30 minutes.  Use regularly for beautiful skin.

2.  Chocolate and Egg White Face Pack:

This is a very good anti-ageing face pack.  In a bowl, add in 2 tbsp of cocoa powder/chocolate, one whole egg white, 1 tbsp curd, and 1 tbsp honey.  Mix everything well, apply on the face and neck, rinse off after 20 minutes.  You would get firmer skin texture with regular use.

3.  Chocolate and Multani Mitti Face Pack:

Well, this is a strange combination, but good for oily skin.  Add in 2 tbsp of cocoa powder/chocolate with 1 tbsp of multani mitti.  Make it into a paste by adding water and apply on face, rinse off after 20 minutes.

4.  Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana Face Pack:

Another good anti-ageing face pack because this one is high in anti-oxidants.  Take 2 tbsp of cocoa powder/chocolate and mix in strawberry pulp and mashed banana into it.  Mix well into a paste by either adding water or milk.  Apply to the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes.

5.  Chocolate, Coffee, and Almond Face Pack:

Another yummy sounding thing 😛  This is a 2-in-1 face pack, its a scrub-cum-face pack.  You would get smooth, gently exfoliated skin along with the anti-oxidant benefit.  In a bowl, add in 2 tbsp of cocoa powder/chocolate, 2 tbsp of coffee powder, 1 tbsp of almond powder, and make a paste by mixing in milk.  Apply generously on face and neck and rinse off after 5 or 10 minutes. While rinsing, rub it in a circular motion.
Try at least one today, even those on a diet, for a wonderful chocolatey experience 🙂
