Detanning Face Pack with Yogurt and Tomato: Do It Yourself

Detanning Face Pack with Yogurt and Tomato: Do It Yourself

Hello People,
Hope you all are doing wonderful, writing after quite a long time now.  Tanning is a problem most of us encounter during summer and we try what not to get rid of it! We try all sorts of creams from the market, but the most effective and best ones are home remedies. Today, I will share with you one such recipe to remove tan which exfoliates as well.
Ingredients Needed:
  • Fresh tomato.
  • Yogurt.
  • Sugar grains.
Tomatoes are a rich source of vitamin A, B, K.  It helps in de-tanning, removing excess oil from the skin, helps in clearing acne, cures sunburns and the list goes on. It is also considered to contain the properties to prevent wrinkles,  but I personally doubt that. It is very good for the skin.  Yogurt is said to have hydrating properties, has the ability to detan, acts as a supplement to the tomato.  We are using the sugar grains for exfoliating purpose, it helps to remove dead cells instantly.
How To Make:
  • Cut the tomatoes in pieces (preferably in 4).
  • Sprinkle the sugar granules on it.
  • Top it off with the yogurt.
  • Rub it on your face, neck, arms.
  • That’s it, nothing more is required.  You just rub the tomato topped with sugar and yogurt all over your hands, face and neck and you are done. Keep it on for 10 minutes, wash it off.
    Note:
    • The sugar might feel sticky on skin, but that’s normal.
    • It might feel sticky while drying up after the wash, but once dried up completely, you will see the difference in your skin.
    • You can use it without the sugar as well.
    • You can squish the tomato in a bowl and mix the yogurt well, then sprinkle the sugar, use the mixture with a cotton ball.
    • Wash it off all over your face, neck and hands with cold water, thoroughly, but don’t use any soap.
    • To have this recipe actually work on your skin, you have to use it every second day, and avoid the sun as much as possible.
